Drone Survey Devon

Building Inspection

A wider aerial look at a building, not roof only: elevations, grounds and outbuildings in one visit, covered anywhere in the county.

Aerial view of a building's roof, elevations and surrounding grounds photographed together from a drone

Sometimes the question is bigger than the roof. A managing agent might want the whole envelope of a building looked at, or a landowner might want outbuildings and boundaries covered alongside the main house. This service covers the building as a whole rather than one surface.

The same fixed price, travel included, and 48 hour turnaround applies whether the building is a single farmhouse outside Chard or a block with several elevations in Plymouth.

What is included

  • All elevations photographed, not roof only
  • Grounds, boundaries and outbuildings covered in the same visit
  • Travel across the county included in the fixed price
  • A written report within 48 hours with images by elevation
  • Suited to portfolios, blocks and larger rural properties

Who this tends to suit

Managing agents with a block to record, landowners with outbuildings and boundaries to check, and anyone buying a rural property where the roof is only part of what needs a look. The county wide coverage means this works as well for a farm near Holsworthy as it does for a property in Newton Abbot.

How a building inspection runs

  1. Step 1

    Scope agreed

What is being covered gets agreed before booking, whether that is one building or a small group of addresses close together.

  2. Step 2

    The flight

Each elevation and the surrounding site covered methodically, with more time allowed than a roof only survey.

  3. Step 3

    The report

Images organised by elevation and area, with a written summary, inside 48 hours.

Building Inspection questions

Can several buildings on one site be covered together?
Yes, and it is a common request for farms and small estates. The scope gets agreed up front so the quote reflects what is actually being flown.
